Talk about interesting collaborations. BAPE has been surprising all in the past few months with special collaborative projects that are just way of out the box. Remember the soon to release netbook produced with Fujitsu and new collaborative lines with AMBUSH and United Arrows? The latest fun concoction from BAPE comes in the form of a creature close to the Japanese heart and stomach–fish. BAPE is collaborating with Japanese fishing gear label, Daiwa, to create an interesting collection, A FISHING APE. Thus far, NIGO has previewed a double fishing hook in the shape of a staring fish dressed stealthily in signature BAPE camouflage. As summer hurries along and winter is due to depart in a few months, fishing at the lake wearing your favorite vintage deck shoes would be a viable activity soon.
