As previewed last week in the form of Air Jordan III (AJ3) by Cole Johanson, Nike unveiled the entire Doernbecher Freestyle VII Collection over the weekend. Each year, the athletic lifestyle giant partnered with Oregon-base Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in honoring 6 of the hospital patients that overcame serious illness and have them design a special collection, what came to be known as the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Now in its 7th year, the sale proceeds from the collection have generated over $2.4 million for the hospital’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation. As with previous collection, a support team of Nike designers teamed up with this year’s patients to fully encapsulate their ideas from conception to end product. The result is an unique product run from Air Jordan III, Air Force 1, P-Rod 2.5, along with Free Run+, Air Max Zenyth and Zoom Vomero+ 5. All will go on sale in November, with 100% of proceeds goes to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation. See more of the collection after the jump.
