In a city all too familiar with glitter and glam, the new 3D applique on Zoom Kobe VI still caught many Angelons in neck breaking glance. A part of the tribute pack leading up to the 2011 All-Star Game at Los Angeles Staples Center, the 3-D Nike Zoom Kobe VI, which also go by the name Hollywood, applied the same popular visual effect onto its upper. In alternating blue (right foot) and red (left foot) sequence, both feature layered prints of patterns to create the 3-D imagery. Other details include a white translucent sole and a miniature motif of a 3-D glasses hidden on the tongue. Though it will not come with its own 3-D glasses, its effects are surely that of a blockbuster hit. The Nike Zoom Kobe VI All-Star Hollywood/3-D is set to premiere on NikeStore.com at Midnight, with limited engagements at select Nike retailers, including Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer in New York City.
