Jay-Z Announces Jay Electronica Signing To Roc Nation | Video
Roc Nation is slowly amassing a group of young artists (including Wale, who we interviewed last year, and J. Cole) in attempt to bring lesser-known talent and high powered production together. With Just Blaze proving the soundscape for many of Jay Electronica’s later tracks, it’s no surprise that Roc Nation is the place where the exciting artist has landed. About 6 months ago, on the strength of one Blaze-produced single–”Exhibit C”–Jay Electronica went from internet sensation to radio up-and-comer. Now, with his signing, let’s hope to hear more heat soon, as Jay Electonica has been on a recent hiatus of sorts. Check the video of Jay-Z announcing the signing after the jump.
