Heritage apothecary turned trusted cosmetics label, Kiehls, is no stranger to creating some of the most high profile and high impact collaborations. After having worked with Brad Pitt and KAWS, this year, Kiehls is launching an Earth Day 2010 initiative by launching a limited edition Acai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist to draw $200,000 of proceeds out for the Rainforest Alliance. For this collaboration of four limited edition bottles, Kiehls enlisted the help of Pharrell Williams alongside Julianne Moore, Jeff Koons and pro-surfer Malia Jones. Pharrell’s label design features the signature digi-camo print from Billionaire Boys Club.
Going beyond skin deep and into the product, the Acai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist is a soothing, antioxidant, 100% natural spritz toner for after cleansing. The mist is concocted from a blend of lavender, Acai berries from the Amazon and aloe vera–all geared towards protecting skin against exposure to aggressors.
