It’s strappy, it’s Velcro, it’s red and it’s the adidas Originals new Adi-Rise mid. 

The new mid-top from adidas Originals might seem rather simple in 

monochromatic red, but upon closer inspection, the construction is quite 

subtly complex, mixing reptilian print leather with perforated leather, 

grain leather and mesh. The additional Velcro straps across the front 

and heel gives the shoes an edgy rock-and-roll vibe that is quite 

characteristic of sneakers from labels such as Ato Matsumoto and 

Raf Simons– but with that easy, casual vibe that is signature of 

adidas Originals. The tonal red sneakers sit atop crisp white soles 

for an added sporty contrast, and will be perfect for dark denim.
